Project Summary

This project presents the 30 Minutes Fantasy Liber Wizard enhanced with the Sorcerer Upgrade, reimagined as a celestial‑themed arcane warrior. The build focuses on a refined, competition‑grade finish using a twilight‑iridescent colour scheme. The armour will feature shifting purple‑blue tones, contrasted with pearl‑white plates, preserved gold filigree, and light‑blue magical nodes. This palette creates a unified visual story of a spellcaster empowered by cosmic energy.

The project emphasises clean surface preparation, layered iridescent paintwork, and precise gold detailing, supported by subtle turquoise to enhance the magical theme. A thematic base such as a star‑touched ritual platform, will reinforce the narrative identity of the piece.

The final concept, “Aetherlune Kaleidos,” portrays a mage who has bound stellar fragments into their armour, resulting in a luminous, otherworldly presence. This entry aims to demonstrate strong colour cohesion, advanced finishing techniques, and a polished presentation suitable for GWCC judging.

Nothing beats the fun of the preparation stage!

Starting off this Liber Sorcerer build with Kaleido Gloss Black Primer. A smooth, glossy black base not only gives excellent coverage but also sets the perfect foundation for metallics and vibrant colors to really pop.

The primer lays down beautifully, levels out nicely, and leaves a clean finish that's ready for the next stage of painting. Every great build starts with a solid foundation, and this is definitely a fun part of the process.

I've just tried their white primer and it turned out flawlessly, Interior colors next on my entry.

Their primer is oustandingly excellent, compared to tamiya paints. Kaleido glossy is very glossy even if you do 2 coats
